Counseling Services
Counseling is provided as a support for students so they can become receptive to their educational surroundings and benefit from their academic instruction. Through individual and group counseling, students learn to recognize behavioral and emotional challenges, and are provided with support to help them make positive changes. As each milestone is reached, a new goal is created to challenge and gradually draw the student toward more positive and adaptive behaviors. Students are supported to: increase frustration tolerance, develop impulse control, manage anger, develop positive social skills, develop coping skills to face new and challenging academic and social situations, and improve self-confidence. Our goal is for each student to develop the skills necessary to succeed in school and beyond.
